Purpose of this Contract
The purpose of this contract is to protect all parties: the Purchaser, the Seller, and the Kitten.
If there are any problems, questions, concerns, or issues, the Seller is always available to help.
The goal is for the adoptive parent(s) and/or family to be completely happy with the new Kitten and his or her transition to the new home. Transitioning is easy for some kittens but more difficult for others, and each kitten handles stress differently.
If there are any issues, please call or email the Seller immediately.
4.
Terms of Contract
- The Seller guarantees that the Kitten listed above is purebred, from a TICA-registered litter, and eligible for registration in The International Cat Association. A TICA registration form (Breeder Slip with BSN and Litter Number) will be provided to the Purchaser upon receipt of the full purchase price.
- If participating in shows, the kitten's full registered name, including the prefix Junglebeauty, must be used.
- The Seller cannot guarantee the kitten's future color, contrast, pattern, eye color, features, or size.
- This contract is not transferable to other individuals or organizations. All guarantees are null and void if the Purchaser gives away, resells, or otherwise transfers the kitten without the Seller's written consent.
5.
Health Guarantee
The Seller will provide the Purchaser with documented vaccinations, deworming, and veterinarian records. The Kitten is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase.
7-Day General Health Guarantee
- The Purchaser must have the Kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of purchase.
- During this period, the kitten must remain indoors, in a limited area (one room), not be exposed to other pets, and remain on the same diet. Otherwise, the general health guarantee is void.
- If found to be medically deficient due to a condition present at the time of sale, the Kitten must be returned to the Seller for treatment. The Kitten will be returned once healthy, or if untreatable, replaced with one of equal value or refunded in full.
- Proof from a licensed veterinarian, plus confirmation from a veterinarian of the Seller's choice, is required.
Exclusions:
- Respiratory disease, fleas, worms, stress-related illness (e.g., mild diarrhea, heart murmur), or conditions caused by dietary/environmental changes.
- Innocent or low-grade heart murmurs are not covered, as they are common in rapidly growing kittens and often resolve by 5–6 months.
36-Month Genetic Guarantee
- Covers PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), PKD (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency), and severe hereditary HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy).
- If a kitten is diagnosed with high-grade HCM with clinical signs within 1 year, the Purchaser may receive a full refund or replacement.
- Mild, subclinical HCM within 3 years is not covered, as it is generally non-genetic and not life-limiting.
- If the kitten dies or must be euthanized within 36 months due to a proven genetic/congenital defect, the Seller will replace the kitten, provided an impartial necropsy report from a licensed veterinary pathologist is provided at the Purchaser's expense.
Other Notes:
- Seller assumes no liability for veterinary expenses after sale.
- The kitten is not guaranteed free of FeLV, FIV, FCoV, or FHV due to prevalence in the general cat population. FIP cannot be guaranteed against.
- Stress-related illnesses (such as coccidiosis or mild respiratory infections) are common after rehoming and not covered, though the kitten may be returned to the cattery within 7 days for treatment at Seller's expense.

Spay/Neuter Agreement
This Kitten is sold without breeding rights. He/she has been desexed by the breeder's veterinarian.
7.
Purchaser's Veterinary Information
The Purchaser must provide the name and contact information of their veterinarian upon request. The Purchaser agrees that the Seller may discuss the kitten's health and sterilization status directly with this veterinarian.

8.
Treatment and Care of Kitten
The Purchaser agrees to:
- Provide quality food and fresh water at all times.
- Confine the kitten for 1–2 weeks in a private room until acclimated.
- Maintain regular veterinary care, vaccinations, and grooming.
- Never declaw the kitten. Declawing is an amputation and voids this contract.
- Never allow outdoor living.
- Never tattoo, pierce, or otherwise modify the kitten's body for cosmetic purposes.
- Provide a lifetime of proper care, affection, and a safe environment.
Any abuse, neglect, or mistreatment voids all guarantees.
9.
Relinquishment / Rehoming
The Purchaser may not sell, give, or transfer the kitten to a pet shop, shelter, research facility, or similar. If the Purchaser cannot keep the kitten for any reason, the Seller has first right of return/rescue.
All medical records and TICA papers must be returned if the kitten is surrendered. Return costs are the Purchaser's responsibility.
10.
Confidentiality
All business dealings and terms of this contract are confidential. Negative or defamatory information (including health disputes) may not be posted publicly online or elsewhere.
11.
Breach of Contract
If the Purchaser violates this contract:
- The kitten must be surrendered to the Seller immediately, with no refund.
- The Purchaser may be fined between $500–$2000 per breach, or up to $5000 if reputational damage occurs.
- Any legal disputes will be resolved in the Seller's jurisdiction (Kitchener, Ontario).
12.
Severability & Modification
If any clause is deemed invalid, the remainder of this contract remains in force.
Modifications must be in writing, signed by both parties.
13.
Method of Payment
Payment must be in Canadian currency via cash, certified check, e-transfer, or money order. Shipping/delivery is at Purchaser's expense and is not refundable.
14.
